RGS Annual Conference 2023 – Call for Sessions

The RGS call for sessions is open and we would like to ask that any interested people submit a session proposal for RGRG sessions.

We ask that proposals are relevant to the RGS theme and equally RGRG issues topical for current times.  We are flexible as to what this may be and happy to hear new ideas but some scope could be: food security/food systems; covid recovery; (in/out) migration: crisis management; environmental issues; services disparities (housing, schooling health, transport, etc);  gender, race and equality; digitalisation, to name a few.

If you would like to organise a session, please email the following to Megan Palmer-Abbs (mpa@nforsk.no) and Martin Phillips (martin.phillips@le.ac.uk) no later than 9am (GMT), Thursday 2nd February:

  • Name and affiliation of chairs and convenors, including contact details of key contact person
  • Session title
  • Abstract of no more than 250 words
  • Number of sessions
  • Whether your session will be in-person, online or hybrid
  • Format of session e.g. papers, workshop, World Cafe etc…

We will decide on which sessions to take forward by Friday 3rd February, with a view to sharing calls for papers in the following week.

Further guidance for session organisers can be found on this RGS page.
